The staff was very pleasant and the place was clean. The rooms were en suite and squeaky clean here with a decent sized wash basin and comfy beds plus bathroom. Appreciated the convenient decor! The location was particularly good in a very picturesque area, close enough to gorgeous sandy beach and the shore.

Everything there was lovely and the staff where really efficient. I appreciated the room, it was well-equipped and brand-new with a double bed, toiletries, for example. The location for Johnshaven was nice and easy, really close to the pier, the pub across the road and many tourist things. Had good and delightful meal in the dining room.

En suite and squeaky clean room, everything was excellent. Good location - short walk to the centre of Johnshaven, the pub across the road and the local shop and a walk around the harbor. The rooms for a decent sized wash basin. Magnificent breakfast with plenty of delicacies and very pleasant staff.

The room was twin and en suite and tidy for a decent sized wash basin when I arrived. Great and lovely location close to the village's port was a plus.
-
Edward
The food was reasonably priced, with a lot of options. It had unbeatable location, not far from the bar restaurant, the pub and local store and the pretty harbour.
The bed was pretty small, that's sad thing.
-
Andy
This location was particularly good and beautiful, very close to a wonderful traditional fishing village pub, the restaurant and interesting rocky beaches. The food was incredible and there were plenty of dishes in the menu.
-
Geoff
The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, with lovely beach walks just a few steps from the small harbour. You can't beat the convenience of having a cafe next door that sells delicious ice cream and the Anchor Hotel opposite, which offers great food. Plus, the hotel is situated right across from a well-stocked local shop, making it extremely convenient. The rooms are basic but clean and well-maintained, with a hint of the nautical theme without being overly cheesy.
The breakfast prices seemed a little on the expensive side. A wider variety of options, such as fresh fruit and yogurt, would have made it more special.

Laurie
The room was absolutely spotless and airy with coffee, electrical oil filled radiators, bedroom, really enjoyed it. The location was marvellous and stunning - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. You could walk to local stores and shops.
Their staff were chatty.
